July 29, 2019NAI Brannen Goddard To Lease Jefferson Logistics Center; Panattoni Breaks Ground on 1 MSF Speculative Development in Jackson County
ATLANTA, GA – July 22, 2019 – NAI Brannen Goddard, a leading provider of commercial real estate services, is proud to represent Panattoni Development Company, Inc., in leasing Jefferson Logistics Center, a speculative Class A industrial facility located at Dry Pond Road and Horace Head Road in Jefferson, Georgia, off I-85’s Exit 140.
Panattoni recently broke ground on the development in June 2019 and plans to deliver a 1,015,074 square foot state-of-the-art, speculative logistics facility in Jackson County in February 2020.
The marketing and leasing of Jefferson Logistics Center has been entrusted to NAI Brannen Goddard brokers Jack Haden, Director, and Mike Chambers, Managing Director.
“We’re looking for a tenant that will bring jobs to the Jefferson area,” said Haden. “I really think this logistics center will have a positive impact on the community, like the surrounding distribution facilities in the area have.”
Haden speaks to the abundance of industrial warehouses that also exist off Exit 140, like the distribution hubs for Aldi, Walgreens, Sears, Kubota, TJ Maxx and Home Goods, and more. Jefferson Logistics Center’s location puts it not only in close proximity to some of retail’s biggest names, but it also gives future tenants 2,500 feet of rare exposure to I-85.
The building will include modern warehouse features, like cross-dock loading with 190 dock doors and 248 trailer storage spaces. Panattoni is no stranger to amenity-rich developments: Their recent enterprises include a3.3 million square foot facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and a 1.55 million square foot facility in McDonough, Georgia. Overall, the Atlanta office of Panattoni has developed over 10 million square feet of space in the last 36 months.
